More than any other event, for atmosphere, location and sheer excitement, Laguna Seca is the one that really sets our pulses racing! And in case anyone was under any illusion, the incredible Rossi/Stoner duel of 2008 had to be one of the best races in MotoGP history. Standing at the finish line in our Pole Position Club, seeing Casey and Vale going at it axle-to-axle; with our 50 VIP guests, narrating the action to our special guest American Baseball legend Reggie Jackson and family, made Laguna my personal top experience of the year!
To help ensure you get the maximum opportunity to enjoy the most electrifying event of the year, we have implemented a simple philosophy: put together the kind of packages that we MotoGP-fans ourselves would like to experience. And have we! Not one, but THREE private trackside hospitality options: The Turn 5 Power Sport Dynamic club, an oasis at one of the fastest corners of the track; • The Pole Position Club - superior catering and a stunning terrace right at pole position on the finish line • The VIP Village Suite - the top experience of the race in our private air conditioned room as part of the official VIP Village, including pit lane walks and paddock tours. All get you general admission and paddock access, closed circuit TV, our hostesses to look after you and we can offer an optional Saturday PARADE LAP!
But it isn't all trackside! Sleep will be optional for those of you who really want to maximise the weekend: For those of you arriving early Thursday we support the Riders for Health programme getting you into the pits, meeting riders, getting a lap on the track and more! Thursday evening is our traditional Happy Hours at the top sports bar in Monterey - 'Knuckles' at the Hyatt, where we always seem to bump into a few riders. Our Friday opening reception is a private screening of the seminal film The Doctor, Tornado and the Kentucky Kid with director Mark Neale. Saturday night we take in the spectacular double-mayhem this year of Cannery Row: Bikes and Independence day fireworks with celebrity guests at our now-legendary VIP Beach Party. Sunday we do a closing dinner in the local microbrewery.
Our full-service packages are based in top hotel accommodation - the Superior 4* Hyatt Regency Monterey(many teams and riders); our all-inclusive Deluxe /VIP Package at the 5* Clement Intercontinental on Cannery Row, and a new 'Economy' package at a highly-rated 2* hotel near Monterey.
